Jeffrey A. Joerres has been the President and Chief Executive Officer of Manpower Inc. since April 1999 and Chairman of Manpower since May 2001. From July 1998 to April 1999, he was the Senior Vice President - European Operations and Marketing and Major Account Development of Manpower. He began his career at Manpower in July 1993.[1]
His contributions to Manpower has led to his recognition in the Institutional Investor magazine which included his name in the list of the Best CEOs in America for the fourth consecutive year.[2]
While CEO of Manpower in 2009, Joerres earned a total compensation of $5,347,360, which included a base salary of $980,769, a cash bonus of $200,000, stocks granted of $1,548,000, options granted of $2,547,675, and other compensation of $70,916.[3]
